Return of the Veteran Thomas ahead of Panthers vs. Saints Game:-
Chris Olave became New Orleans’ top receiver last season after two-time All-Pro Michael Thomas missed much of it due to a foot ailment.
With Thomas back in the lineup in Week 1, Olave once again led the Saints in pass-catching efficiency with eight catches for 112 yards. With eight passes meant for him, Thomas, who is still getting back into shape, was Carr’s second-most targeted receiver. He had five receptions for 61 yards, including one of 25 yards.
This week, Olave hypothesized that Thomas’ impact on the Saints’ passing game goes beyond the veteran receiver’s performance in his first game back from injury.
